The Center was invited to hold the 5 Asia-Pacific country THUNDER plan.
Using 2 EKOS machines (blood vessel ultrasound thrombolysis procedute) and ECMO to successfully treat a 12 year old lung embolism. The success was internationally known.
The Centre collaborates with 17 of Taichung’s hospitals in promoting THUNDER project. It was the first time that dangerous factors and probabilities were provided for sudden deaths. It is used as reference for government emergency aid platforms.
